“Old approach, new medium” This is what I am constantly saying to myself as I work.  I seek to master this approach with my art. The dawn of the digital age allows for great innovation and yet, the most interesting approach for me is to try to step back and reinvent traditional medium. 

I like to have a lot of control over my subject when I work.  Before I began my digital arts quest I had a strong background in charcoal, graphite and ink figure studies and landscapes.  This has given me a good platform to work off of with my digital exploration.

The category of my work that is most interesting to me is my Polygon Art.  I am given almost complete control over all aspects of the images I produce, and sense it’s such a new medium for art there is plenty of uncharted territory (something that is rare in everything we do today).  A classical approach to such a new medium produces interesting results.  I am looking to explore more complicated narrative with my work and to create images that feel more personal.
